Voice Department Visit Day (in-person)

Experience a full day of in-person activities with the faculty and students of the University of Denver Lamont School of Music, free of charge. Participate in a masterclass, observe students at work in performance class, tour the DU campus and the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, and enjoy a pizza lunch. Each participant will be paired with a current student, so you can experience a “day in the life” of a Lamont classical voice major. You’ll even have the option to attend a Lamont Opera Theatre performance that evening, on us!  

Schedule of Activities 
9:30am – Check-in begins 
10:00am – Welcome Presentation by Lamont Admission 
11:00am – Voice performance class 
12:30pm – Masterclass with Sahar Nouri, Music Director of Lamont Opera Theatre 
1:30pm – Pizza lunch 
2:30pm – Lamont tour, or shadowing a Lamont student 
3:30pm – DU campus tour, or shadowing a Lamont student 
7:30pm – Optional: Attend “A Night at the Opera” presented by Lamont Opera Theatre

Because of COVID restrictions we need to cap the number of people at each event. As such, we will limit these events to students only. Parents are welcome to wait in the Plaza or drop their student off.
