Piano Department Visit Day (in-person)

Experience a full day of in-person activities with the faculty and students of the University of Denver Lamont School of Music, free of charge. Participate in masterclasses, take in a faculty performance, observe students at work in performance class, tour the DU campus and the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, and enjoy a pizza lunch. 

Schedule of Activities:

9:30am – Check-in begins 
10:00am – Welcome Presentation by Lamont Admission 
11:00am – Masterclass with Stephanie Cheng 
12:00pm – Pizza lunch 
1:00pm – Masterclass with Steven Mayer, and a performance by Prof. Mayer entitled “Black Virtuoso
Piano” 
2:00pm – DU campus tour 
3:00pm – Lamont tour 
4:00pm – Piano performance class

Because of COVID restrictions we need to cap the number of people at each event. As such, we will limit these events to students only. Parents are welcome to wait in the Plaza or drop their student off.
