Why I choose DU: When it came time to choose which school I went to, I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving the beautiful state of Colorado. The University’s smaller class sizes, financial aid opportunities, beautiful campus and study abroad opportunities made deciding between the schools within the state an easy task.
Favorite Memory of DU: One of my favorite memories at DU is a very personal one. I was walking back to my freshman dorm toward the end of the first quarter of my freshman year and I was hit with the realization that all the things I feared about college no longer seemed important. It became apparent that I know how to navigate campus, I have friends, I am very involved, and I am happy.
Internship Experience while at DU: I have yet to participate in an internship experience, but I will be involved with one in my future, as it is a requirement for my major concentration.
Why I chose to study abroad: I am looking forward to applying to study abroad in Italy next fall.
