DU welcomes international transfer students to our undergraduate programs. Transfer applicants with the greatest chance of being admitted will generally have a 3.0 GPA or "B" average with no grades of "D" or "F" in their previous college coursework. GPA. If you have completed less than one year of course work at another college or university, submit an official high school transcript-in addition to those from all colleges or universities you have attended. Remember that all transcripts must be sent directly from your previous schools to DU's Office of International Student Admission to be considered official.
Community College/Junior College credits: A maximum of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) may transfer from a two-year school and may only be transferred at the first-year and sophomore levels.

English Courses
English courses do not automatically transfer to the University of Denver. Students with a TOEFL score below 570/230/88 or IELTS below 6.5 will need to take our International Student English Placement Exam (ISEPE) to determine whether transfer credit will be granted for first-year English or English literature courses taken at other colleges or universities.
