Student Clubs and Organizations

DU students are active, motivated and excited about getting involved outside the classroom.  DU students participate in a variety of clubs and organizations, numbering over 100 - and students regularly begin new clubs as well.

Amongst the numerous student clubs and organizations, you are sure to find what you're looking for: a debate team, a DU radio station, a student run newspaper, student government, Model United Nations, a Greek system, Democrat & Republican groups and more.  However, there is no shortage of unique and interesting organizations as well.  Go along on ski, snowboard, fishing or moutain biking trips with the Alpine Club.  Come together with other students who enjoy reading and discussing books in the Pioneer Book Club.  Discuss topics ranging from philosophy, sociology, theatre and pop culture in the Voltaire Society.  Or enjoy off roading with other likeminded students in the DU Off-Road Club.

DU is committed to creating a diverse campus community, and cultural awareness is promoted through many groups, organizations and activities. Examples include the Asian Student Alliance (ASA), the Black Student Alliance (BSA), the Baha'i Campus Association, the Hawaii Club, the Hindu Student Council (HSC), Latino Student Alliance (LSA), the Interfaith Alliance, the Native Student Alliance (NSA), Pi Lamda Chi Latina Sorority, the Hillel Society, Queer Straight Alliance (QSA), the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), the Muslim Association and much more.  Social activities on campus promote diversity and cultural awareness of the underrepresented ethnic community.  Search the database of clubs and organizations and see what groups interest you.
