Wahhab Carter

About Me
I have been with the University of Denver since 1998. I was originally raised in El Reno, OK but moved to Denver after being blessed with an athletic scholarship to DU, and I've been here ever since. I currently serve as the Assistant Director in the Office of Admission as well as with Multicultural Recruitment.

My responsibilities include overseeing 14 states as well as local territories in Colorado Springs, Pueblo and the Southeastern Slope. Prior to working in the Office of Admission, I had the opportunity to play professional basketball in Finland and Sweden after finishing up my collegiate career at DU in 2002. While at DU, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Human Communication with a  minor in Psychology.

Coming from a big family in which I have four siblings,  I enjoy being active.  During my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, basketball, football as well as hiking/camping and lifting weights.  I also enjoy spending time at the park and going to the movies.

My Territories
I have the opportunity to work with prospective students from the states of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, North and South Carolina, North and South Dakota, Oklahoma, Utah and West Virginia.  In addition, I also work with Colorado-based students from Colorado Springs, Pueblo & SE Colorado Schools.
