About Me
I am a Colorado transplant, and I truly love the Mile High City. After many wonderful years in both northern and southern California (where I earned my BA in English from UCLA), I was eager to join a community that mirrored the values I hold close to my heart. After searching the country, I found Denver to be a perfect fit. The pace of life, seasonal change and accessible downtown were all very attractive features for me, and continue to be the reasons I enjoy living here so much. In 2007 I earned my Master’s in Counseling here in Denver, and I knew I wanted to put it to good use in a college setting. I have worked in various educational venues but found myself drawn to the University of Denver, where I am excited to be sharing my enthusiasm for this incredible institution with prospective students.
When away from campus, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling the world, reading in Washington Park, and I am continually on a quest for the ultimate high-altitude chocolate chip cookie recipe. As a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan, even I was surprised when I was swept up in ‘Rocktober’ 2007, when the Colorado Rockies won 21 of their last 22 games, sending them to the World Series. It was a great time to be a baseball fan in Denver!
My Territories
My territories in Colorado include the Douglas County school district and those schools located on the western slope (Aspen, Vail and Steamboat Springs to name a few). I am also the representative for students from Ohio, Michigan, Georgia and Nebraska.
